for those who don't *waves* hay gurl hay.

here's the thing. if you think i'm "being stubborn", or "being ungrateful" or "being purposefully antagonising" when i'm saying something in AGREEMENT with you, i'm sorry but there really is nothing more to be said. everything i say, do, think, blink, breathe is just not good (enough) or rude. i'm practicing being silent, but oh i'm so sorry, sometimes i slip when i think agreeing with you is an acceptable thing to say that MIGHT not make you explode.

my bad, i was wrong.

it's alright. soon i'll be back in sydney, and once i get a job and graduate, you'll never have to see me again! :) joy yeah? yes, i look forward to that too.

to be honest i don't' even care enough to be angry at my parents anymore. i've tried everything from being extra polite to just being plain silent and only the silent option seems to work so. the most effective way of being silent is to not be here.

i'm more pissed she wasted an entire hour (and 25 minutes) of my afternoon ranting about anal things like the the way i should have said "i'm very sorry i was wrong" BEFORE I agreed/explained how i was wrong and why they were right.

i mean it might just be me but that seems anal to the point of ridiculous. though i guess i could also be wrong and really i am just a tactless, rude bastard and all my friends secretly hate me and are just waiting for a chance to stab me in the back and i'm just too arrogant to realise this until i die like a dog against a wall (some sort of chinese proverb that involves lots of blood and sounds disgusting when you say it - naturally my parents think it profound and uses it a lot. i just think it sounds stupid, but hetn again i could be wrong again) .

i only have one word for you my dear parents: whatever. i do not have the energy to try to reason with you like logical, reasonable adults. i'll just practice being silent and you can go on thinking you're oh-so wronged and oh so righteous. 

i hate my parents. 

if i'm such a failure then fine. give me a fucking invoice. i will pay you back when i am a lawyer. then we can kindly not talk to each other for the rest of our lives. Yes, i will pay interest.

i have had enough.

"I am right. I am just trying to explain why I am right."  - my father's own, succinct and accurate self summary.

"All your friends secretly hate you." - my dad, on my general attitude, the way I talk and my 'inside' - which is his asian!speak for (i'm guessing) my general apathy towards him.

"Why don't you want to go on a family holiday?!" - my dad, being stupid.
